Who we are
TheUX AI Drive Foundation is a done-with-you setup service run by TheUX, owned and operated by Sawyer Flint (“we”, “us”). It organizes your Google Drive into a clear structure, with your approval at every step. Questions about this policy: support@theux.ai.
What we collect
- When you check out: your name, your email, your phone number if you give it, your order number, whether you’d like tips and offers from us, and whether your payment went through. Payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or store your card number.
- When you book a call: Calendly collects your name, email and the time you pick, under Calendly’s privacy policy.
- On the setup page: the Gmail address you tell us, and whether you’re starting fresh or already have files.
- When you connect Google Drive: your Google account email, plus the names, types, dates and folder locations of your files and folders. We do not open or read what’s inside your files.
What we ask Google for, and why
We ask for permission in stages, and only when you reach that step:
- To look: read-only access to file and folder names, so we can show you a proposed plan. Nothing can change at this stage.
- To start fresh: access only to the folders our service creates for you.
- To organize: permission to move and rename files, asked for only when you approve a plan. We use it only for the items you approved. We never delete anything. Google’s screen describes this permission broadly (“see, edit, create and delete”); we use it only to move and rename what you approved, and we never open your files’ contents.
You can see exactly what you’ve allowed, and take it back at any time, at myaccount.google.com/connections or with the Disconnect button on the setup page.
How we use it
To provide the setup you bought: to show you a plan, make the changes you approve, keep a record of those changes, and contact you about your order and your calls.
Our client list: we keep your name, email, phone (if given), company name, order and call details, and how your setup went (for example, how many files were sorted, never their names or contents). If you said yes to tips and offers, we may also email you about related services. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can also just reply “unsubscribe”. Emails about something you ordered still reach you.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use anything from your Google Drive, or any other data we receive from Google, to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models, and we don’t share it with any AI provider. Sorting is done by fixed rules on our own server. No person looks at your Drive information unless you ask us for help with it, it’s needed for security, or the law requires it.
TheUX’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we protect it
Your information is kept on a private server we run, and every connection to it is encrypted. The keys Google gives us to reach your Drive are encrypted before they’re saved, and they never reach your browser.
Cookies: we use one cookie to keep your setup signed in on this site. No tracking or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
- Your setup: deleted automatically after 30 days without activity. When that happens, we also cancel our access to your Google Drive.
- The record of changes: a list of what we moved or renamed in your Drive, and where it went. We keep it so we can answer questions and help you undo a change.
- Order records and our client list: your contact and order details, kept for our business and tax records and so we can follow up, until you ask us to delete them (except what tax law requires us to keep).
Who else sees it
Only the services we need to run this: Google (when you connect your Drive; our client list and our email also run on Google Workspace), Calendly (when you book a call), Stripe (to process your payment), and Slack, which we use to let ourselves know about new orders (your name, email and order number). We don’t share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Your choices
- Disconnect Google at any time, from the setup page or your Google account.
- Stop tips and offers at any time with the unsubscribe link in those emails.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to delete it, by emailing support@theux.ai. We’ll reply within 30 days.
Children
This service is for businesses and adults. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information we already have, we’ll email you first.
